Content galore, dog-related things + more
The week is short and Wednesday is typically long, so I’m going to hop right into the good stuff and start by telling you that I’m excited my pal Billy finally joined Substack. While he’s not really in the media industry, he’s a popular talking (dog) head and has amassed a wild Twitter following thanks to his no-B.S. takes on the human experience.
Anyway, I’m suggesting you at least follow the free version of his freshly-launched newsletter because he’s a delight. If you’re pro-cryptocurrency things, he’s also the founder of Dogecoin. So there’s that.

What I’m working on now:
Reader’s Digest: Best bed frames for every type of sleeper. First, I want your skimlinks/amazon/major retailer bed frame pitches. As always, affiliate-ready links are required. Second, I’m down to quote some sleep experts in this one. Can’t be associated with a brand, sorry. bryce@theluxuryspot.com
Reader’s Digest: Best coffee alternatives to try right now. Ya know, help people stick with their resolutions and whatnot. Amazon products need at least 500+ ratings and a 4+ star average, otherwise open to all sorts of other skimlinks-ready retailers. bryce@theluxuryspot.com
Taste of Home: Need just a few more seder plates for this Passover story (how are we on Passover already?! My neighbors still have Christmas lights up and the editorial world really messes with your sense of time/space/motion). Amazon, Etsy, Nordstrom and other skimlinks-ready sites pls! bryce@theluxuryspot.com

Musings:
Speaking of doges, my dog is pregs. Expect loads of pictures. Mom is a mini Aussiedoodle. Dad is a toy poodle. I’m going to be swimming in mini Aussiedoodles in a few weeks. Also, I think this makes me a grandma now? Here’s a picture of the happy couple:
Agh, MR + Cision listed my work email somewhat publicly. While I love both platforms and connecting to publicists (so much!), my work email has a relatively light storage capacity. That means sending image-heavy pitches will just about crash my computer. Please don’t. Use the email address I always have listed in my newsletters. That’s where I can easily catalog and store pitches. Seriously, I have over 200k stored so I have access to the contacts and brands I need for stories at any given moment. It’s better for us all!
Tomorrow’s Affiliate Tribe newsletter is dedicated to the burgeoning shopping and edit trends happening across ALL major publishers, and what data shows consumers are eagerly responding to. And yes, that matters—placements are only as valuable as their performance.
