Happy Friday, friends! Still swimming through your after-Christmas sales pitches, so if you sent one, you’ll probably hear back from me today. In the meantime, lots more stories for me to hustle on this weekend/early next week so I can take a wee bit of time off later this month.
Stories I’d like pitches for:
Taste of Home: The best places to order desserts online + ship to friends across the country (ie cookie platters that can be delivered to siblings in far-off places, cakes that get mailed directly to your door from other states, etc). If you offer holiday-specific offerings, lemme know! MUST BE AFFILIATE-FRIENDLY. Bonus points for brands that are great about social shares, obvi. Need pitches by EOD Monday, but the sooner the better. bryce@theluxuryspot.com
Taste of Home: Best places to order Christmas dinner delivered to your door. Again, same affiliate requirements as above, and would have to be dinners that ship all over the country. So, we don’t want a Christmas dinner that only delivers in a 10-mile radius — we want a whole meal shipped Goldbelly-style. That said, open to any/all retailers with skimlinks! Need by Monday, and yes, needs to be Christmas dinner (not just a random mac and cheese offering). bryce@theluxuryspot.com
Family Handyman: The best lightbulbs for bathroom lighting. This piece is strictly about the bulbs (so please don’t pitch a standing lamp even if it’s genuinely beautiful), and will focus on all the various styles, lighting options, energy use, wattage, etc. I need major .com retailers like HomeDepot.com, Walmart, Amazon, etc or independent retailers with skimlinks affiliation. Pitch by EOD Monday. bryce@theluxuryspot.com
Alsooo… everyone really loved that laundry hack from yesterday and I’m so glad! To clarify (there were some questions), you’re going to add your normal laundry detergent, plus two of these cheap tabs, and then run your machine’s whites cycle. That’s it. And it’ll all come out smelling a wee bit minty.
That’s it for now. Going to make the most of this beautiful Friday after I write another piece or two and then go for hike, collect some eggs, and bake some challah <3
Till Monday, friends!
Hi Bryce! I have a question - when working with F&B brands, in terms of affiliates, is it enough for most naitonal outlets that they are sold on Amazon? I'm thinking of beverage and snack brands I work with..thanks much!
I need to try that hack!
