I know, I know—it’s Friday on a holiday weekend. If you’re not already signed off, you will be soon, and I get that. I’m making this the world’s quickest newsletter of all time to get a headstart on the big Reader’s Digest stories I have on my plate (and frankly, to give you a headstart before they hit HARO or social media queries).
Stories I’m working on now/Monday:
Reader’s Digest: Best jewelry organizers to clear up counterspace/keep jewelry tangle-free. Need affiliate-friendly major retailers like Target, Nordstrom, Wayfair, Amazon, Etsy, etc or DTC-websites with Skimlinks. Hit me by EOD Tuesday, but early birds get more worms. bryce@theluxuryspot.com
Reader’s Digest: Wow, this is going to be a BIG feature piece with a crapload of syndication. Ya ready for it? The BEST WEDDING GIFTS EVER. So, ideally, we’re playing to realistic America budgets around $300 or less. We’ll put a few splurges in, but please pitch gifts you’d actually want to give or receive for a wedding. Wrinkle-reducing eye cream is not a wedding gift, FYI. Need affiliate-friendly, and as always, if your client is good about social media shares I like them more than I like other people. Pitch by Wednesday AM! bryce@theluxuryspot.com
Favors to ask you:
This goes out to the entire group of subscribers here—not just the paid ones. Is there anything you truly don’t understand/can’t make sense of in the affiliate-editorial world that you’d love an in-depth explainer for? Sarah Karger and I will be running another easy-to-digest explainer series and we want to cover the info people REALLY want and need. Leave thoughts/questions in the comments section, please!
Get outside! It’s so nice out (in most places, anyway). Forget the internet. It’ll wait.
Have the best, most peaceful weekend. Robust emails comin’ atcha next week!
Thank you for everything you do Bryce
I'd like to know if I have a product on Amazon.com, is it automatically considered affiliate-friendly or do I as an inventor/seller have to do anything to make it affiliate-friendly? Thanks
