Hi hi from the teeny-tiny little office cabana in the back of this house that has become the unofficial Reader’s Digest workspace for the remainder of this week. Sometime between my moving north in my early 20s and me coming back down now in my 30s, iguanas took over the whole damn peninsula. So there’s a family of larger-than-average lizards staring at me as I write this, and I want you to know that.
What I’m working on now/need pitches for:
The Healthy: Quick turnaround! I’m revamping a piece on the best face serums for every type of summer skin. Ideally most will be $100/under, have oodles of positive customer ratings and be offered via popular Skimlinks-ready retailer (amazon with 500+ reviews), walmart, sephora, ulta, nordstrom etc. bryce@theluxuryspot.com
Family Handyman: Need a quick turnaround interior decorator/design to lend commentary on lighting trends. Sorry, can’t be affiliate with a brand, but independent designers who can turn quick commentary around would be GREAT! bryce@theluxuryspot.com

Checking out several of the sites/spots SoFla PR teams sent me recently! So much fun + stories coming next week <3
A minor word about consulting/lunch and learns. I am thrilled to offer these! Unfortunately, I can’t offer an hour of my life (or the data and understanding I’ve worked for years to accumulate) for free. While almost everyone is totally respectful of this, I was asked recently by two very large PR and ad agencies to offer them “exclusive insights” on the state of the affiliate game for… free. Money aside, that’s an hour of life I won’t spend with my family, living life, etc. I assume that they don’t show up to work for free at their very for-profit agencies, and I shouldn’t either. If your agency is asking for this stuff (you know who you are), please forward them this newsletter so they get the point/don’t burn bridges. I know I’m not the only writer they asked for the same fakakta arrangement from.
Because I’m on a sort of abridged work schedule this week and hustling on plenty of behind-the-scenes internal trainings, I didn’t get a chance to send our AT newsletter out on Thursday. That means you get two this week, with the first coming shortly!
Finally, I’m always super happy to share job listings (really, it brings me oodles of joy to keep the gainful employment vibes dancing around)! These are ALWAYS FREE! Please just make sure you send exclusives that won’t be published anywhere else for at least several days. We all strongly prefer original content :)
That’s it for now, friends!!! May your days be full of frozen lemonades and sunshine.
That little lizard! Thanks Bryce and hope you're having tons of fun. I'm about to email you a serum. XO!
Those lizards in Boca are huge! There used to be tons of them sunning themselves on the roof of my daughter's apartment building.
