My kids are remote learning again, so pardon me if I type of bunch of gibberish as I get through my 900th coffee of the day. I know it’s still early, but if you’re also in the homeschooling zone right now… you feel me. All. Five. Of. Them. Are. Here. Asking. For. Snacks. Every. Other. Minute. Love them so much.

What I’m working on now:
Family Handyman: Rounding up the best home decor pieces you can buy from HomeDepot.com and need your pitches! Would also love some commentary from an interior designer on why HD is a great go-to for home decor (especially on a budget). Send by Friday! bryce@theluxuryspot.com
Taste of Home: Still working on the best Valentine’s Day-specific candy and getting back to all of you right now on those pitches. Long story short though, if it’s not affiliate-friendly (and if it’s on Amazon it needs LOADS of positive reviews) or Valentine’s Day themed, it won’t be a fit here. I will def continue to keep your pitch in mind for other edible guides though! bryce@theluxuryspot.com
Taste of Home: Workin’ on a roundup of best hanging fruit baskets as a personal nod to the most delightful part of my childhood kitchen. We all had those, right? And cane-backed chairs? I’m at a point in life where I’m deeply committed to seeing other people hang their fruit and marvel at it from their own cane-backed chairs. Okay, pitch me affiliate-friendly links by Monday. bryce@theluxuryspot.com

There’s a massive Sur La Table sale happening right now, and bc like half the store is 55%-ish off, I wrote about it for Taste of Home.
Aight, aight, aight… this clever-as-all-heck KitchenAid accessory organizer is cheap and makes a great gift. Also, it’s on Etsy so it’s supporting small/local American biz. Double also, if you rep a mom and pop shop on Etsy with THOUSANDS of great reviews, hit me up. I’d love to support if I can.
Look at all these pretty bathroom organizers! Nary a stray hair tie or curling wand again!
Also, I want to note that a lot of my published pieces run through the TMB syndicate networks. Not 100% of content, but most will make it to MSN (like this), AOL (like this), and other sites like Insider, etc. If you have Google alerts on your brands, you may see those pop up first. Promise they’re not first, but yay for extra love for you and your clients!
Jobs:
Neiman Marcus is hiring a Director of Brand Partnership Strategy. Sounds exciting, right?
Eileen Fisher is looking for someone to run their digital analytics dept.
Domino is looking for a new commerce editor.
Hearst needs a senior editor in their Home & Design group.

If you joined the fuller version of my newsletter yesterday, thank you!!! Felt too good to sit on the info till Thursday. I promise you’ll get another longer-form newsletter then too. Also, paid subscribers have access to the full library of newsletters so you can always go back/read what you missed.
THANK YOU FOR BRINGING THE WORLD “PARLOR” BACK TO ITS FORMER PIZZA-FOCUSED GLORY. Did I need all caps/bold here? Probably not, but I mean, it’s a topic that deserves the same voice I’d use at my kids’ soccer games while holding an obnoxious bag of orange wedges.
Jerome Powell signaled that ALL OF AMERICA is moving towards crypto adoption. Oh thank goodness. *me feeling slightly better about the hopes of toppling inflation* That said, I’m using this moment to shout out an OG beauty publicist, Marie Laure Fournier. Why? She’s the FIRST publicist to integrate new crypto/blockchain technologies in her consumer product pitches and it’s exciting. I think this is a direction every form of consumer product PR should be at least LOOKING at. I mean, the future is coming… right? I think it’s a lot closer than the average person expects, and consider this the equivalent of the early days of the Internet. You’re in 1995 right now. Make the most of it (but don’t fast forward and buy Daily Candy for an absurd amount of cash just to shut it down, eh?).
Okay, that’s it for now. I appreciate you. Wishing you warmth and health!
I'm gonna send you the biggest mug ever - the kind that stays warm if you plug it into your computer - so you'll have to refill a lot less often. Because that's what friends are for.
high quality almond extract? For taste? some health reason? I need details...
