Back from what felt like the longest parade of non-work holidays for me ever. Sukkot came to a close this evening, and for those of you who felt like I disappeared—I promise I didn’t. Till sundown this evening and for a couple of days prior, I had to be signed off to observe the holiday and eat my weight in my grandmother’s recipes.
The point is—I’m back, and I’m going to reply to everyone’s emails in a matter of hours. Annnnd so many stories to work on! Here’s a taste of what’s on my plate and the most pressing in terms of urgency:
Hustling on these tonight/tomorrow:
RD.com/Readers’ Digest: How to get free stuff on Amazon (revamping this piece). Pitch me freebies from your brand, secret codes, hacks for students to get free memberships, your free top-downloaded e-books, tips and tricks, etc. NEED INFO BY 3 PM TOMORROW! No exceptions. bryce@theluxuryspot.com
Family Handyman: DIY products at unbeatable prices you can buy at Walmart.com. If you rep great items for the home/garden/garage at Walmart, hit me up! VERY tight turnaround on this one and I’ll need your pitches by noon tomorrow ET. bryce@theluxuryspot.com
RD.com/Readers’ Digest: Have till EOD Friday on this one (yay!), but need to finish the framework for my best hostess gifts story. Send me products that are skimlinks-friendly (so, major online retailers or individual sites that are hooked up to skimlinks) and make ideal hostess gifts. Ideally $50 or less, but happily will include a handful of pricier items. bryce@theluxuryspot.com
Some other thoughts:
I’ll write a fuller newsletter tomorrow including stories that were published while I was offline + some job listings.
If you pitched me TECH GIFTS for RD.com, I’ll swim through those ASAP. If you haven’t yet pitched, please do!
Nobody asked, but the PR team at Nutella sent me a mailer of Kinder Bueno Bites that are individually wrapped and entirely delish and why didn’t anyone ever tell me these existed?! If you’re not already actively involved in eating ‘em, get involved.
That’s it for now! Till tomorrow <3
